JOB OVERVIEW:

The Director of Franchise Development will be responsible to drive the growth in the U.S. franchise sales effort for Blink. He/she will be critical to the identification and assessment of prospective franchise partners, selling franchises and growing the company’s overall footprint. He/she will report to the VP of Franchise Development.   The company is headquartered in Manhattan, but the position will work remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Source and screen franchise prospects
  • Negotiate franchise deals
  • Implement the franchise approval process up through alignment with the Blink Franchise Committee
  • Take franchise prospects from application to franchise agreement execution
  • Hire and train sales support staff
  • Manage franchise development budget
  • Extensive travel (estimated at ~50%+)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with at least five years of franchise sales experience. Must have extensive multi-unit selling experience
  • Highly results oriented with strong communication skills
  • Experience handling a large pool of active candidates using sales management software
