Blink Fitness is seeking an exceptional Director of IT Infrastructure and Support who will lead the charge in planning, executing and supporting technology functions for Blink’s fast-growing fitness brand. His/her responsibilities will involve managing a dedicated technology team tasked with supporting the evolving needs of the Blink brand. Partnering with senior leaders across the enterprise to prioritize, manage, and execute these complex IT functions nationwide will be essential.

The right candidate will have a proven track record of leadership within an IT organization and have experience establishing key process frameworks and leading a team to support international expansion, retail roll-outs and agile development methodologies.


The ideal Director of IT Infrastructure and Support will have functional experience rolling out and maintaining the following:

  • Support team management:
    • Cloud based Ticketing Systems
    • Franchise support
    • Application support
    • Shift management
    • Team succession planning
    • A grasp of ITIL standards
  • Application management:
    • SaaS implementations
    • SaaS project management
    • RFP creation
    • High transactional systems
    • Custom software support
    • Understanding of SDLC 
  • Application modalities:
    • Database understanding
    • Email marketing systems
    • CRM products
    • Retail systems/ PCI compliant architecture
    • Cashless payment
    • Kiosk customized software and hardware
    • AWS cloud management, Serverless architecture
    • Cloud ERP management and enhancement
    • HRIS deployment
    • Partnership integrations to SaaS products
  • Infrastructure Management:
    • Networking
    • Software development standards and Dev-Ops Management
    • Wireless Infrastructures
    • PCI payment terminals
    • Thin Client Deployment
    • IT budgeting
    • Cloud Telephony 
    • Telecom management
    • Digital Signage systems
    • Cloud Architectural understanding


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology Systems Engineering or a related field preferred, MBA or MS degree a plus
  • 10+ years of experience in the IT, preferably with a broad background in a variety of roles such as systems engineering, IT operations, networking, application support, or infrastructure
  • Strong experience with industry-standard IT best-practices, concepts and procedures
  • Excellent Project Management skills, PMP or PMI certification a plus
  • Demonstrated expertise with high-volume IT retail and club roll-outs, experience with franchise IT business models a huge plus
  • Experience in the Retail, Hospitality, or Consumer goods industries a plus
